Is it the responsibility of a Public School District to verify and validate the educational credentials of its own administration: (Antonietta (‘Toni’) Mertz)?

The Malden Public Schools has yet again failed to provide the educational credentials of its own administration. Ms. Antonietta (‘Toni’) Mertz currently holds a position which has a minimum educational qualification of a masters degree.

“Part IV: Minimum Qualifications:

1. Incumbents must have successful experience in working with culturally and linguistically diverse staff members, families and communities, and/or have otherwise demonstrated a commitment to equity and strengthening engagement of a diverse community and skill in communicating with a diverse population.

2. Master’s degree in business, financial management, accounting, legal, educational leadership, or related field.

The original job she was hired into in June of 2016, likewise required a Masters Degree:

Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline.

You may remember that the prior Superintendent, Ligia Noriega-Murphy claimed to have a doctorate, which she was unable to provide, and which the Malden Public Schools refused to provide.

When will Malden Public Schools act in a transparent and honorable manner?
